Online assistance for Canvas from Wharton Computing's Courseware Team

WebCafé discontinued November 25, 2013

As announced at the April 2012 Wharton School faculty meeting, Wharton courses now use Instructure Canvas rather than webCafé beginning with the Summer 2012 semester.  After more than 18 months at a reduced service level, webCafé was shut down in late 2013.

Important Notes Regarding the Discontinuation of webCafé

  • Because of the age of the eRoom software and its out-of-date system requirements, webCafé can no longer be operated as a critical computing service.
  • For faculty, Wharton Computing is retaining copies of materials offered through webCafé for five years after the end of the course. If you taught a course which used webCafé and now need access to past materials, please contact your departmental IT support staff to make arrangements for access.
